LUNAR ECLIPSE is a project started already in 2005 by St. H?skens (Tormentor, d) and M. Kuschke (Infernal, g) of DESASTER and is based on riffs which didn?t fit to the "Desaster-concept" but were too good to be forgotten. Members of Witchburner and Metal Inquisitor wanted to join the project, but this failed because of lack of time. One day Tormentor talked about one of his workmates (B.Kl?ppner) with a good voice and who also got some local fame with his Rock band "The Get Band" in the 80s which was hot to touch the micro again. His Rock-voice is now an interesting contrast to the heavy riffs which are completed by the great soli of R. Strzalka (Ex-STIGMATIZED - Death Metal). The whole sound is competed by singer B.Kl?ppner, who is also the mixing engineer, with the groovy bass of his son and some atmospheric keyboards played by himself. LUNAR ECLIPSE have nothing to do with some actual "retro" or "vintage" trends, but are inspired by the infinity of the universe. BANG OR BE BANGED !!!
