Isolation der Essenz is the brand new 2010 full-length album by MOLOCH, a Ukrainian one-man Black Metal act who previously released "Traurer" on Sabbathid Records Japan, and "Depression of Surtr" on BlackMetal.com Records.
This album delivers cold, misanthropic and desolate mid-tempo [Nordic-influenced] Black Metal, along with melancholy Ambient tracks articulated with cold crystalline Piano. Crunchy distorted guitar minimalism, primal Thrashing beats, and an overall raw necro-ish execution are well-supported by howling tortured grim vocals that recall the landmark LEGION / PERUNWIT split that shook the Underground many years ago.
The last song [title track], "Isolation der Essenz," is a Dark Ambient tune unfolded in a more abstract way and lasts for about 25 minutes; reminiscent of classic BURZUM during Grishnack's most introspective (incarcerated) period with utterly depressive atmospheres. All in all, this mandatory new MOLOCH album well organizes important aspects of the rising Slavonic Black Metal horde's voluminous works of recent date.

"Cold raw hypnotic Black Metal sound, like a thousand blades in a dance of winter blizzard leaving thousands of cuts digging into the body... Heart-rending screams of freezing flesh, summon the death, dissolving within echoes on the mountains... You feel it... inside yourself... your essence is isolated..."
