Shyboy were Marc Gulli (guitars), Ray Santini (bass), Chris Oremus (Vocals), and Bobby Lambert (drums). They formed in Totowa, NJ in June of 1988. They received a solid following throughout the New Jersey club circuit, which included Studio One, Murphy's Law, and The Playpen. They opened shows for many national acts which included Warrant, Trixter, Roxx Gang, The Red and The Black featuring members of Blue Oyster Cult, and American Angel. In 1989 Bobby Lambert was replaced by John Porter (drums). Shyboy released their first recording in September of 1988 called "Stop -n- Go" which featured the title track "Stop -n-Go", and the power ballad "Don't walk away". With these tunes, Shyboy's following grew from this point on. In late 1989 with John Porter now on drums they released their second batch of songs, which included the crowd favorites "Do or Die", and "You can't have it". Shyboy continued to play live through June of 1990, and had the greatest time of their lives!!!
