After two excellent demos the Australian solo-project returns with an equally captivating debut album. Mastermind The Seer calls his music Sombre Romantic Black Metal, while we prefer the label Neoclassical Necro Synth for its unique combination of raw vocals and the dominant piano that makes Midnight Betrothed something totally outstanding in today's scene. If you are a sucker for dark romanticism and want something altogether different that probably hasn't been done in this fashion before, Midnight Betrothed may be the band for you.
