SOULBURN was formed in 1996 by founding ASPHYX members Bob and Eric when Dutch death metal legend ASPHYX was temporarily inactive. Vocalist Wannes (PENTACLE) was invited for vocal duties shortly after. In its' short existence SOULBURN recorded 1 album. "FEEDING ON ANGELS" has often been regarded as the missing ASPHYX album. Soulburn is currently active again with only Eric Daniels left from the original line up.
