While many bands have adopted the name VOID, none have emerged from the haunted swamplands of Lafayette, Louisiana - nor have any summoned such raw power, atmosphere, and dark imagination. Since forming in 2021, VOID have carved their path through the underground, first with a string of digital singles, and then with the jaw-dropping self-released debut Horrors of Reality in 2023. That debut was enough to catch the attention of SHADOW KINGDOM, who reissued the record and followed up with the chilling 7", Return of the Phantom.
Now, VOID rises once again with Forbidden Morals, a triumphant second full-length that not only expands their sonic reach but plunges listeners deeper into the gothic, castle-bound nightmare world they inhabit. This album is steeped in a vampiric, medieval atmosphere - echoes of candle-lit corridors, blood-soaked rituals, and iron gates creaking under moonlight—all delivered through a whirlwind of sharp, technical thrash metal.
