Released in conjunction with the band's five-year anniversary, Ave Mors was HELLFIRE DEATHCULT's bolt-from-the-blue debut recording, which was originally self-released and now finds its very first release on vinyl format. Right from the very beginning, Ave Mors proved that this power-trio (back then a duo) were a formidable force of overwhelming, world-eating blackgrind, reverently nodding to the likes of Archgoat, Black Witchery, and early Abominator but ably transmitting the band's onstage presence, which they've prolifically pursued every since.
