Some WOM releases come together very quickly, others take considerably longer. This one spans nearly a decade from early conception to final release. Recorded between 2017 and 2020, the album was postponed multiple times - hence the early BeBu catalog number - and only assembled and finalized several years later. Musically, Ethnic Militias explores the full range of the project's output at this stage: structured power electronics and industrial tracks with rhythm and vocals sit alongside minimalist and free-form electronic pieces, covering a broad and eclectic spectrum.
